Mini-split maintenance and repairs
Mini-splits need regular cleaning to keep working well. Dirty filters and coils choke airflow and can keep water from draining the way it should. If your indoor unit is dripping, smells musty or isn’t keeping up, give us a call.
Real job, Roy: A Roy homeowner called us because one of their four Daikin mini-split heads was leaking water. Our team completed maintenance on all four heads plus the outdoor unit: cleaned the clogged filters, vacuumed and chemically cleaned the indoor coils and blower wheels, inspected and reassembled everything, and cleaned the outdoor coil, fan blades and panels. Clean, dry and running right. See more of our work

Mini-split questions
How much does a ductless mini-split cost?
A single-room mini-split typically runs about $7,000 to $12,500, sales tax included for Eatonville, depending on the option you choose. Two- and three-room systems cost more because each room gets its own indoor unit. The final price is set at your free in-home visit.
Do I need ductwork for a mini-split?
No. That’s the beauty of a ductless system. Each indoor unit mounts on the wall and connects to the outdoor unit through a small hole, so it’s a great fit for homes without ducts.
Can a mini-split replace my baseboard heaters?
Yes, in many homes. A mini-split heats and cools, so it can take over from baseboard or wall heaters in the rooms it serves. We’ll look at your layout and recommend how many indoor units you need.
Will a mini-split heat my home in winter?
Yes. Mini-splits heat as well as cool. If it will be your main heat, or you live in a colder foothill or mountain area, our Best option, Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat, is built to keep heating strongly in cold weather.
How many indoor units do I need?
Usually one for each room or open area you want to heat and cool. We’ll measure and recommend the right number at your free visit, without upselling you on units you don’t need.
Why is my mini-split leaking water?
The most common cause we see is dirty filters and coils, which choke airflow and can keep water from draining the way it should. Regular maintenance helps prevent it. If yours is dripping, call us and we’ll take a look.
Is removal of my old unit included?
Yes. If we’re replacing an existing unit, removal and disposal of the old one is included on every job.

Ductless Mini-Split FAQ
How does a ductless mini-split work?
It's a type of heat pump. An outdoor unit connects to one or more wall-mounted indoor units, so it heats and cools without ducts.
Are ductless mini-splits worth it?
They make the most sense in homes with baseboard heat, additions, converted garages, shops and rooms that never stay comfortable.
Is there a PSE ductless heat pump rebate?
It depends on your utility. Flow Tech is a participating installer for Ohop Mutual Light Company and PSE heat pump rebates. Check your power bill to see which utility you have.
How much does a ductless mini-split cost?
It depends on the number of zones and the home, so we price it at a free in-home estimate. Call 253-448-0801 or request one online.
