Ashford Heating, Electrical & Generator FAQ
Who provides electricity in Ashford, and does it affect heat pump rebates?
Lewis County PUD serves the southeast portion of Pierce County, which takes in the Ashford area, but check your power bill to be sure. Rebate programs are set by each utility. Ask Lewis County PUD what it currently offers, and we can give you the equipment details it asks for.
Can a generator run my furnace during an Ashford power outage?
Often, yes, if the generator is sized for it. Flow Tech is an authorized Generac dealer and is also Generac service certified, with two Generac-certified techs. Tell us which circuits matter most, such as the furnace, well pump or fridge, and we design the system around them.
Why is my furnace not turning on, and will you drive up to Ashford?
Check the thermostat setting and batteries, the breaker or furnace switch, and the filter, since a clogged filter can trip a safety limit. If it still won't start, it may be an ignition or control problem, so call us. Ashford, on SR 706 near the park's Nisqually entrance, is part of our regular service area. Calls answered 24/7, emergency visits when needed.
Do HVAC companies do electrical work too?
Ours does. Flow Tech handles furnace, heat pump, AC and ductless mini-split repair and installation, ductwork, thermostats, indoor air quality, residential electrical and Generac generators. One call covers the whole house.
